Thursday 21st September – bike *** – Two rivers including lunch at Landguard – mainly cloudy with light winds.

After two days of strong winds it had disappeared and we had light breezes today but with only brief glimpses of sunshine. Still managed my exercises in the back garden as Mag went for physiotherapy for her arm, I then packed a picnic and we headed off on our bikes. Down to the prom which was much busier than we expected but it was much quietier at Landguard nature reserve and we sat on the old jetty for lunch, not overly warm today and we were glad to have a coat on. After a relaxing picnic we headed back, warmer now with a tail wind:) Mag left me at Bent Hill as she headed for home as I continued onto Felixstowe Ferry with the tide high I took a few pics around the boatyard and then returned home the short route.
